Description
This collection includes 31 interviews conducted as part of the 'Christian Voices Coming Out', a project launched in 2016 to mark the 40th anniversary since the foundation of the Gay Christian Movement in 1976, now called OneBodyOneFaith.
With support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, volunteers recorded the stories of pioneering Gay Christian activists, advocates and allies, from different church backgrounds from across the UK, in their own words.
Alongside their stories is the story of the Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement, founded in 1976, told thorough its archive material, currently part of the Hall-Carpenter Archives. View the Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement catalogue.
